Welcome to the Club.

We are a student-run organisation based
out of Wilfrid Laurier University.

The Advertising Project (TAP) is a student-run club within Wilfrid Laurier University, operating under the Lazaridis Students’ Society, dedicated to nurturing and expanding opportunities for students with a passion for advertising, marketing, and design. We strive to provide the most value for students within the Laurier community who are interested in building their portfolio and breaking into the industry. With many on-campus events, workshops, case competitions, and speaker series, TAP cultivates a close-knit community of students who provide peer mentoring and support. Our connections and alumni offer mentorship and experience opportunities for students who want a career in the marketing field.

Charity Events

Here at The Advertising Project, we strongly believe in giving back to our community and supporting our local charities. Every year, in our award-winning social media campaign “65 Roses,” we work alongside Shinerama to raise awareness and funds to fight Cystic Fibrosis.

Social Media

The Advertising Project is continuing to put a strong emphasis on social media presence due to the ever-increasing digital school experience. We have revamped our website and club branding while continuing our social media engagement through Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. We look to utilize these channels to promote our corporate sponsors and highlight our professional events.
